HOW TO JOIN	This registration is for players (or parents/guardians) to secure a spot for VBL Summer 2026. Three ways to join: • Register as a full team (Captain registers first) • Register and pick your team (join a existing team) • Register as a free agent (we’ll place you) Spots are limited by gym capacity + divisions.
SEASON DURATION	• Season Tip-Off: July 5, 2026 • Every Sunday, July 5, 2026 → September 6, 2026 (10-week season) • Regular Season: Weeks 1–7 • Playoffs: Weeks 8–9 • Championship Week: Week 10 (September 6, 2026)
GAME DAY LOCATION	Laura Secord Secondary School (349 Niagara St, St. Catharines, ON L2M 4V9) All Sunday games will be scheduled at this location. Official game times will be released before the season begins.
PRACTICES	Location: Harriet Tubman Public School (84 Henry St, St. Catharines, ON L2R 5V4) Practice days: Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday Practice hours: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM Each team will be assigned one practice slot per week — either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Practice sessions are one hour long. Your team’s specific day and time will be confirmed once registration closes and teams are finalized. Please ensure your athlete is available on at least one of the three practice days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) to accommodate scheduling.
TEAM COMPOSITION	• 5v5 basketball • Roster:10 players recommended • Teams should have a consistent roster to protect chemistry, stats, and media coverage.
REGULAR SEASON	• 7-week regular season • 1 game per week • Seeding based on: record + point differential
PLAYOFFS	• 3-week playoff format • All teams qualify
DIVISIONS	Jr Division: U11 U13 Sr Division: U15 U18 We restructure and organize teams to keep games competitive and fun.
IMPORTANT REGISTRATION DEADLINES	• Early Bird Pricing + $100 Deposit Option: $325 + HST Valid until May 31 • Jersey Customization Deadline: June 7 Name/number customization is only guaranteed before this date. • Standard Pricing: $349 + HST Valid until June 14 • Final Roster Pricing: $379 + HST June 15–26 • Registration Closes: June 26 • Season Tip-Off: July 5
REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY	Approved cancellations/refunds are subject to a $30 administrative cancellation fee, which helps cover payment processing, refund processing, and administrative costs. Refunds may be limited or unavailable after jersey customization, team placement, or the season start date.
